After taking a few months off, I am back to blogging again. I was trying to decide what direct direction to take the blog, and I’m just about there. I want to write about life, people and what makes you happy. People never cease to amaze me, just when I think I know someone they do something totally off the mark. But that is what makes us all unique individuals.
This year I would like to reflect on what makes us happy and how to achieve maximum happiness in this crazy world we live in. We are only on this earth for a finite number of days and we do not know how many days we have. It could be 1, 100 or 10,000 more days to live. Let’s try to live each one to the fullest. We all have our peaks and valleys, highs and lows and that allows us to be the people we have become. Sometimes we have very dark moments where nothing seems to be going right, we feel rejected and people are against us. Those times are very difficult. But if we can get through them, there will be good times ahead. I hope everyone will experience good times in their life.
I love to travel to Pittsburgh to visit my Mom. She is a wonderful 82 year old woman who has a heart of gold. She can be very trying at times and say some things that hurts your feelings, but she loves me and all her children, grandchildren and great-grandson very much. I went back in January and February and experienced snow storms both times. We were literally snowed in the last weekend in January! She taught me how to crochet (I never really wanted to learn when I was younger, but now it’s the latest craze) and I made a scarf that weekend. I’m now making a baby afghan for my grandson due to arrive on September 3rd.
